Changi Transit Hotel Terminals 2 & 3

Changi Transit Hotel Terminals 2 & 3, formerly the Ambassador Transit Hotels, are the airside transit hotels inside the departure transit lounges of Terminals 2 and 3. Rooms are sold in 6-hour blocks around the clock, and everything happens behind security, so no immigration, no visa, and no taxi are involved. The Terminal 3 property adopts the new name on 1 October 2026 and Terminal 2 on 3 November 2026.

Standard rooms come with an ensuite bathroom, TV, coffee and tea-making facilities and a wake-up call service. Budget rooms with shared showers and toilets are also available, the cheapest private beds inside the airport.

Showers are available without an overnight booking, useful for a wash between flights. The Terminal 2 site adds hair, beauty and aromatherapy services, and both terminals offer office services for a layover that has to double as a working day.

Location and Access

Both hotels are on Level 3 of the departure transit lounges: Terminal 2 in the Transit Mall South, Terminal 3 in the Departure Transit Hall. Do not clear immigration or customs. The hotels are airside, and that is their entire advantage.

Transit passengers from any terminal, including Terminal 1 and Terminal 4 arrivals, connect via the free Skytrain and transfer routes. Advance reservation of 3 to 4 weeks is advisable.
