Showers and Lounges at Changi Airport

A shower changes a long-haul day more than almost anything else you can buy in an airport, and at Changi the options are all inside the buildings.

Airside showers: the transit hotels

The Changi Transit Hotels in Terminals 2 and 3 sell shower access without a room booking, airside on Level 3 of the transit lounges: towel, hot water, done in twenty minutes. In Terminal 1, the Changi Transit Hotel’s outdoor pool bundles shower use into its SGD 17 admission, which buys the odder and better experience: a swim between flights, open 6:00 am to midnight.

A room block when you need more

If the flight ahead is long, a 6-hour room block at any transit hotel adds a bed to the shower for not much more, and YOTELAIR’s day cabins in Jewel do the same landside with private rain showers.

Lounges

Changi’s terminals carry the usual card-access and pay-at-the-door lounges, and Jewel adds the Changi Lounge on Level 1 (Energy Pods about SGD 22 per hour). One current gap to plan around: the Changi Lounge showers are unavailable until 15 November 2026. Lounges here are for food, Wi-Fi and armchairs; for actual sleep, the Snooze Lounges and pods guide is the better map.
