Changi Terminal Guide: Which Hotel for Which Terminal
Changi has four terminals plus Jewel, and every hotel decision starts with which of them your flights use.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3: one connected system
T1, T2 and T3 form a single connected block, linked airside by the free Skytrain and by walkways, so a transit passenger can reach any of the three transit hotels without immigration. Jewel attaches to this block landside, adjoining T1’s arrival hall with link bridges from T2 and T3.
Terminal 1 has the Changi Transit Hotel airside on Level 3 near Gate D40, with the outdoor pool. Terminals 2 and 3 each hold a Changi Transit Hotel in their departure transit lounges, and T3 adds the Crowne Plaza, reached landside by covered walkway. Jewel houses YOTELAIR, landside on Level 4.
Terminal 4: plan differently
T4 is a separate building, connected to Terminal 2 by landside shuttle bus only; there is no airside link and no hotel. Flying from T4, sleep near the main block and shuttle over with margin, or pick a landside hotel with easy road access. Note that a T4 arrival with a T1-T3 departure means clearing immigration between them.
Choosing by itinerary
Transit only, no visa: the transit hotels, full stop. Landside arrival or departure: YOTELAIR for hours, Crowne Plaza for comfort, Village Hotel Changi or Dorsett for value a short ride out. The comparison table puts all six side by side.
